Chief Financial Officer – what the heck is that?
A CFO is responsible for managing the financial actions of a company. The CFO’s duties include tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions for improvement.
When bonuses and benefits are included in salaries, the median total compensation for a CFO is $519,692 per year!!!
Basically, they are very expensive financial professionals that help a business grow. The REASON they are so expensive is that they make a huge difference in the company’s financial health. Usually, this means only very large corporations in specialized industries are able to benefit from the financial expertise of a CFO.
That’s where we come in!
